I ate here when it first opened a few years ago, so I was excited to come back and try one of the gluten-free items on the menu. But the menu inside was completely different than the one online with what looked like only three dedicated vegan items and none of the gluten-free ones I saw on here. It now seems like it’s more of a soul food joint, which seems pretty popular, but I think that should be reflected better on this listing. Changing “Social Vegan” to SV makes sense, but the images and description still advertise this as a vegan restaurant, which is very misleading when it’s definitely more meat-based than anything else.

Some of the food here is spectacular (specifically the nachos, chili cheese fries, and taco salad). While I’ve always had issues with the business itself closing early or randomly with no reason or warning, leaving online orders open with no way to retrieve your food, and just the customer service overall, I’d never had any issues with the portions or food itself. This is probably because I’d only ordered those couple of things I guess but there’s no way the taco ordered pictures is worth a solid $20. I could get this for six dollars from any taco place and it’d be better. **Edit** There was literally hair in my food

My husband and I decided to try this place out, kind you, neither of us are vegan. However, after eating it, we’ve visited several more times. The food is amazing, the customer service is top notch and the atmosphere has great potential. They have a really large indoor seating area and space that looks like they may use it for live music/dancing. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area. I didn’t really care for any of the frozen drinks, but the burgers and the loaded nacho fries are spectacular.

Absolutely love this place. Probably one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been too. I absolutely love the vibes of this place, the staff was great. The food came out relatively quick. I was really questioning if the food was all vegan cause it tasted so great! Will come again and again

Food was great and I even got the chance to talk to the owner. Really nice guy committed to making customers happy. Had the buffalo cauliflower wings and a deluxe impossible burger. The burger was so flavorful and seasoned I still can't believe it was not meat. Loved the buffalo sauce on the cauliflower. The frozen alcoholic drinks here are fantastic and there are several different ones to try. I was given the chance to sample some of them and they were all very tasty. Yes the menu is a little pricey but you get your money's worth here.
